It’s a conflicting album and a very important piece to the puzzle of the formation of Compton Hip Hop in the early nineties.

The first half of the album was aggressive and full of angst, where the other half was cautionary and full of jewels. Dre emerged from the West Coast gangster rap scene alongside Eazy-E and Ice Cube to form the group N.W.A., which made a major mark in hip-hop culture and the music industry with controversial. Ice Cube's library of songs pulls from all of the projects that he's helped take to the top. There was a new tone for part of the album, as Ren had converted to Islam and much of the ideologies of the Muslim faith are shown on the album while balancing his loyalty and love of the streets that raised him at the same time. These days, Ice Cube appears more in movies as an actor than as a musician putting down new records, but he still finds time to tour a stage show that's filled with some of the biggest hits in hip-hop history. The question was answered with Shock Of The Hour, and it was every bit of a critical smash as was predicted. The EP was met with much acclaim, but many wondered how Ren would fare with a full-length album. Dre, Ice Cube, MC Ren, and DJ Yella were no less than the black Beatles. After Ice Cube left the group in 1989, N.W.A recorded a Fuck tha Police sequel, Sa Prize (Part 2), on their 100 Miles and Runnin’ EP the following year.Ren is the first to say the. His debut EP, Kizz My Black Azz, was an in-your-face lyrical assault to those that doubted his strength within N.W.A. The GTA franchise is known for taking reference from real-world elements in its games.
Often seen as the most underrated member of the group, Ren is the only one of the group (along with DJ Yella) to remain with Eazy-E and Ruthless Records. San Andreas had some of the best-curated characters with a solid backstory and good choice of dialogues. After the unfortunate breakup of N.W.A., the one member people were a little concerned about in terms of his future in the game was MC Ren.
